Wolves are one of the oldest and beautiful species in the world. Why should it be up to people like Sarah Palin to decide how many of these animals live. Not to sound like PITA or anything but were the ones moveing in on their territory and destroying their homes. It's no wonder they go after our small dogs and cats, there just doing what they do naturally. then when they do we call them killers or worse when were no diffrent from them. Sorry , just needed to speack my mind on this. It's funny, even at a young age i respected but was always fascinated with them. There awesome , powerful animals and should be respected.

Nina, Bushdogs live in the rainforests of South America and is a very old canine species...
They are rare and hard to see in the wild.
But I have actually seen three in the wild of Ecuador....

@admin: I must say your website is the first I've come across today that doesn't have spelling errors every other sentence. Thanks for taking the time to write something that doesn't look like a 5th grader put together. Sorry, just had to vent.

Can the Dhole breed with the domestic dog and if so is there any web sitesor articles with evidence of this? I know the golden jackal and coyote and all species and subspecies of wolf can but not sure if the dhole can.???

Also can the side striped jackal and black backed jackal breed with the domestic dog too? I would expect them to be able to, but again have never read anyhting on this.

Many thanks
